I. Where is located Moți Country?

Known also as The Stone Land because of its mountain-view aspect, Țara Moților it is an ethnographic region of Romania, located in Transilvania’s Apuseni Montains, on the upper basin of the Arieș; and White Criș rivers; Stone Land includes some areas of the following counties: Alba, Arad, Bihor, Cluj and Hunedoara.
This region is the only place in the country where permanent settlements are found on altitudes higher than 1400m, scattered villages on the top of the mountains occupied throughout the year.
The Capital of Țara Moților is considered to be Câmpeni town from Alba county.
