c. Mountain trails – special experiences and landscapes encountered in the karst relief that produced over 800 caves in the area, true sculptures in the mountains and spectacular waterfalls;

d. Birdwatching – in Roșia Montană you can see in its natural environment the sticks, one of the non-migrating birds called „goldfinch”;

e. Recreational activities in the holiday village of Vârtop-Nucet

f. Encounter with popular craftsmen on Woodman’s Day in August at Mărtișești-Horea;

g. Participating at Snow- Festivities in Arieșeni, every beginning of February, where there is skiing, sledding, open air concerts, shows, descents with sleds at night on the slope;

h. Travel by train on the narrow railway-line Turda-Abrud;

i. The road to gold – stories from the strange world of „miner-boys” bear testimony of the times when gold mining was practiced;
